Lämpimät kiitokset kaikille teille, jotka olette tukeneet Helping Hands Networkin toimintaa kuluneen vuoden aikana.
Kiitollisin mielin voin kertoa, että Ronald, Gerald, Grace, Babirye, Nakato ja heidän isänsä tulevat muuttamaan uuteen kotiinsa ennen joulua. Nassan Tukamushaba, Hiv-positiivinen leski isä, on itse ollut rakentamassa taloa perheensä tontille, Kanonin kylässä. Kävimme paikan päällä viime sunnuntaina katsomassa rakennuksen edistymistä. Talo on kattoa ja viimeistelyä vailla. Hänen innollaan ja onnellisuudellaan ei ole ollut rajoja! Vajaa vuosi sitten Allen vaimon kuoltua hän oli valmis päättämään päivänsä, mutta nyt hänellä on paljon suunnitelmia hänen ja hänen perheensä tulevaisuudelle. Joulukuussa menemme ”tupaantuliaisiin” ja siunaamme kodin ja sen asukkaat. Talon rakentaminen on ollut mahdollista lahjoitusten ja Helping Hands Networkin kautta myytyjen helmien avulla.

Warm thanks to all who have supported Helping Hands Network during the past year.
Thankfully, I can inform you that Ronald, Gerald, Grace, Babirye, Nakato and their father will move into their new home before Christmas. The HIV+ widower, Nassan Tukamushaba, has been building the house on their property in Kanoni village. We went to the site last Sunday to see how the building has been progressing. The house is only missing the roof and the finishing. There are no boundaries to his enthusiasm and joy! Less than a year ago his wife Allen died and Nassan was contemplating ending his own life. How things have changed! Now he is full of ideas and plans for his and the family’s future. In December we will go to have a house warming and bless the new home and its occupants. The new home would not have been possible without your donations and the income that has come from selling the jewelry that has been made from recycled paper through Helping Hands Network.
